Mi Amor Caelestis

This may actually be the coolest thing I've produced in years. Fractals are fuuuuuuuuuuuuun!
So there I was, flicking through the randomly generated presets on Apophysis (on account of being a n00b and all...) and DUUUUUDE! One with a big heart smack-bang in the centre! Thus I considered it my civic duty to preserve this mathematical beauty for future generations.
You have no idea how long it took me to get it that pink.

Oh, the title is Latin, "My Heavenly Love", and is a sign that I've been listening to TOO MUCH EPICA.

[EDIT:06/07/07] Yay! Now it comes in wallpaper size! Quality's not brilliant though... might rerender it tomorrow at a better sample size.

[EDIT: 04/10/08] A year later, a year wiser, and I know now that there is actually a mutation called "Heart", so all my excitement at the appearance of this shape is totally unwarranted. Put it down to n00bishness.
